then put ozone back on and select "brighter bassier" and you will hear how bad that sounds compared to your custom eq. take out most of the ugly frequencies then bypass the eq to hear the difference (with eq engaged it should sound wayyy better). Just boost with narrow q, sweep til you hear the ugly frequencies, then cut and widen the q til it sounds right. Try watching this tutorial it's actually pretty decent starting point. learn to eq because a lot of times presets will boost frequencies that are already harsh.
